Chinnor Churches Go Wild

St Andrew's Church (Chinnor) commits to joining St Peter and St Paul Church (Aston Rowant) in achiveing a Silver Eco Church Award by March 2023. Last year, all four Churches in the parish set their thermostats responsibly, re-wilded areas of their churchyards, and installed hedgehog boxes.

White's Windmill Cafe commit to responsible light and heating usage, and will encourage more recycling. Last year, they reduced car usage and cut down on plastic satchels, bags and takeaway cartons.

Chinnor Community Pavilion commits to replacing all light bulbs with LEDs, finding alternatives to single use plastic and food containers, and increased recycling by March 2023. Lights and heating will continue to be used responsibly.

Chinnor Village Hall commits to installing 12 solar panels with battery storage by March 2023. Last year, they changed all light bulbs to LEDs and installed more energy efficient electrical equipment.
