COP 27 Commitments and Achievements
Commit to starting 'Wild Church' - worship services out in nature, and refreshing the ECO Audit they did 4 years ago - (which has been less of a priority during Covid), by March 2022.
Cornerstone Baptist ChurchCommit to an audit of energy efficiency measures among parishioners, working with the school to reduce drop off journeys, idling and emissions on site. Will also recycle greetings cards and labels (via Blackfriars Overseas aid) by March 2022.
St Joseph's ChurchCommit to a Church of England environmental audit of the church building and communities and forming a group to implement the steps from the audit. Planting at least 3 trees in the new part of the churchyard as part of the Queen’s Canopy initiative and installing a bike rack in the churchyard by March 2022.
St Mary's ThameCommit to applying for and starting to work towards an Eco Church Award by March 2022.
