COP 27 Commitments and Achievements
In 2023, Feet First commit to reducing solar heat gain, with the aim of reducing the use of air conditioning units and energy costs. In 2022, they added energy blinds to their upstairs windows and fitted energy efficient LEDs.
Feet FirstZen Hair Design commit to completing a review of all energy usage (lighting and hot water in particular) by March 2023. They will also provide a product refill service to customers. In 2022, they introduced systems to minimise waste and use vegan products in recycled, biodegradable packaging where possible.
Zen Hair DesignThe Cross Keys Thame commits to improving their heating system by March 2023. They will also continue to look for ways to improve card and paper recycling. In 2022, they double insulated loft areas, fitted LED lighting with motion sensors, and replaced their boiler with a more efficient model.
The Cross Keys PubRhubarb Seating commit to cutting energy usage by relocating office staff and look at using 90% soy foam in their cushions by March 2023. They are also encouraging customers to consolidate orders to reduce deliveries. In 2022, they successfully re-engineered their products to reduce wood waste and increased recycling of cardboard, metals, packaging and fabrics.
