COP 27 Commitments and Achievements
Kubota (U.K.) Limited commit to improving waste segregation and investigating waste disposal suppliers offering more innovative, eco-friendly solutions by March 2023. They will also improve their environmental impact reporting. In 2022, they installed 16 EV chargers and reduced charging prices to encourage staff to adopt EV/Hybrid cars.
KubotaRacquets Fitness Centre commits to finding alternatives to night storage heaters and looking into solar panels or air source heat pumps by March 2023. Last year, they worked with Energy Solutions Oxford to complete an energy audit for their buildings, and installed LED lights with motion sensors and more energy efficient equipment.
Racquets Fitness CentreGrowCreate commit to becoming a Carbon Negative company in 2022. UPDATE: Growcreate have signed up to Net Zero Now to ensure they have the support they need to reach Carbon Negativity in 2022.
GrowCreateLucy Electric commit to continuing to plant trees with Thame Green Living and 21st Century Thame. They will reduce the amount of single use plastics they use and commence reporting product-based emissions by March 2022. UPDATE: Have reduced the amount of single use plastics used, are in the process of purchasing biodegradable covers for their units. Product based reporting is still in the planning stages.
