COP 27 Commitments and Achievements
Kubota (U.K.) Limited commit to improving waste segregation and investigating waste disposal suppliers offering more innovative, eco-friendly solutions by March 2023. They will also improve their environmental impact reporting. In 2022, they installed 16 EV chargers and reduced charging prices to encourage staff to adopt EV/Hybrid cars.
KubotaRacquets Fitness Centre commits to finding alternatives to night storage heaters and looking into solar panels or air source heat pumps by March 2023. Last year, they worked with Energy Solutions Oxford to complete an energy audit for their buildings, and installed LED lights with motion sensors and more energy efficient equipment.
Racquets Fitness CentreCuttle Brook Conservation Volunteers commit to re-planting trees in Cox's Wood and to carry out additional planting to encourage natural regeneration of other trees by March 2023. All their work parties are focussed on the prime aim of enhancing biodiversity. In 2022, they achieved their hedge and tree planting target and addressed ash dieback in Cox's Wood.
Cuttle Brook Conservation VolunteersChinnor Parish Council commit to continuing with tree planting projects and establishing more 'no mow' areas by March 2023. They will also provide households with information on energy efficiency and insulation. Last year, they installed an EV charge point for two electric vehicles and developed an environmental policy.
