In 2022, they introduced systems to minimise waste and use vegan products in recycled, biodegradable packaging where possible.

The Cross Keys Pub

The Cross Keys Thame commits to improving their heating system by March 2023. They will also continue to look for ways to improve card and paper recycling. In 2022, they double insulated loft areas, fitted LED lighting with motion sensors, and replaced their boiler with a more efficient model.

RJ Rose and Son Farm

RJ Rose and Son Farm commit to installing solar panels to power farm buildings by March 2023. They will also be cutting out pesticides and using compost extracts to increase soil biodiversity on 10 hectares of land. In 2022, they left areas for wildlife and changed farming practices to increase biodiversity on 75 hectares of land (approx. half the farm).

Rhubarb Seating commit to cutting energy usage by relocating office staff and look at using 90% soy foam in their cushions by March 2023. They are also encouraging customers to consolidate orders to reduce deliveries. In 2022, they successfully re-engineered their products to reduce wood waste and increased recycling of cardboard, metals, packaging and fabrics.
